Macomb Powersports is a recreational vehicle dealership that thrives on fun and adrenaline. Our family owned and operated dealership has been providing powersport needs to its customers for 40 years. We carry a variety of powersport vehicles including motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, golf carts, go carts; power equipment, including generators and snow blowers. Our OEMs include Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Hammerhead. The dealership also has a full service department, parts and accessories department. We are conveniently located at 21 Mile and Gratiot in Chesterfield Michigan.
Macomb Powersports is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This candidate will be responsible for the processing of all inbound and outbound shipments. This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Parts Associates, Service manager, Sales Associates and other Department Managers.
Job Duties:
- Labeling and stocking parts in proper locations.
- Assist in performing cycle counts.
- Process returns to all OEM and after market vendors in a timely manner.
- Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments, verity information against invoices, orders and other records
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
- Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
- Maintain receiving and shipping records, returned parts records and customer special order tickets.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Requirements:
- Shipping Experience
- Knowledge of Computers
- Punctual and reliable
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Drivers License

$15.00-$17.00 an hour based on experience.
