Signal Integrity Intern
Role Overview :
As a member of the HPA team, the Signal Integrity Intern will workalongside experienced engineers providing mentoring, guidance, andintroductions to colleagues. This Internship with MACOM will help the Intern to gain valuable workexperience in a key discipline, build professional relationships, and takeownership of a business-critical project.
During the 12 weeks each Intern will :
Begiven an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
Gainhands on experience
Receiveexcellent training and ongoing supervision
Beinvited to attend an intern webinar series
Attendnetworking / social events
Attendand present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
Receiveformal, written feedback
Requirements :
Currently enrolled in a Master's program, or Ph.D (preferred) inElectrical Engineering.
Prerequisite Skills and Experience :
- BSEE already acquired
- Electrical Engineering / Digital Communications (Signal & System Engineering) / Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Strong fundamentals with analog circuits (RLC networks)
- Exposure to Electro-Magnetics, with hands-on experience using tools like HFSS
- Experience with circuit simulators such as ADS
