Truck Driver CDL-A at JPW Structural Contracting

Overview

JPW Structural Contracting located in Syracuse, NY is currently seeking to add a CDL-A Truck Driver to join their team! Position is Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with 1/2-day optional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• The position would involve hauling crane parts, heavy equipment, and steel parts on a low bed trailer throughout NYS and the Northeast.
• This is not a drive-only position.
• A successful candidate would split their time between loading equipment & steel, delivering to jobsites, and assisting rigging crews onsite.

Qualifications

• Must posses a clean driving record and have 4 years' experience in heavy hauling.
• Experience with load securement a must!
• Low-boy and slide axle trainer experience preferred

• Multi-story Bldgs. and Commercial Retail stores
• Electrical Substation Steel- Design/ Build
• Steel Truss Fabrication & plate girders
• In house Sand blasting and painting booths.
• Ornamental Handrails, Aluminum, Carbon, and Stainless Steel
• Miscellaneous Steel Design and Fabrication, Load testing (ie. Stairs, Ladders, Lifting fixtures, Spreader beams, Pusher Snow plows, buckets, blade fixtures)
• Plate Weldment Fabrications/ in house bending & rolling capabilities
• Press breaks up to 12’ long with 250 ton capacities
