Overview
JPW Structural Contracting located in Syracuse, NY is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team! Positions are Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with optional half-day Saturdays, when applicable.
Immediate opening available. Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 DOE

Responsibilities
- A successful candidate is able to produce machined structural steel parts through manual machining based off blue prints.
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, trouble shooting, calling for repairs.

- Experience with CNC operation a plus but not required
- 3 years in related field or recent trades school graduate preferred

- Miscellaneous Steel Design and Fabrication, Load testing (ie. Stairs, Ladders, Lifting fixtures, Spreader beams, Pusher Snow plows, buckets, blade fixtures)
- Plate Weldment Fabrications/ in house bending & rolling capabilities
- Press breaks up to 12’ long with 250 ton capacities
