Who is MacLellan HVAC & Mechanical?
MacLellan HVAC & Mechanical is hiring a Technician III for our Barton, Alabama location. In this role, you will maintain and repair building systems that include a wide range of HVAC equipment. We respond to both emergency and planned service needs. Our goal is to reduce operating costs and equipment downtime while improving productivity, service, and comfort.

Who are You at MacLellan?
As the HVAC Technician III, you are part of Best People. You are an experienced HVAC professional who takes pride in troubleshooting complex issues and maintaining critical building systems. Working as part of a three-person team, you utilize our Best Systems to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Through your technical expertise and commitment to excellence, you help reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and deliver Best Results for our customers.
What are the skills necessary for HVAC Technician III success?

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to emergency service needs.
• What HVAC Technician III experience is needed for success?
• At least five years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems across multiple buildings.
• Ability to perform both planned maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Experience working with a variety of HVAC equipment and building systems.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing Notification and Policy:

• After a conditional offer of employment, all job applicants at MacLellan Integrated Services will undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs.
• Applicants will be required to submit voluntarily to a urine specimen test at a laboratory chosen by the Company. Any applicant who refuses to submit to a drug test or is suspected by the lab to have tampered with the specimen will not be considered for employment.
• Prior to testing, an applicant will be given the opportunity to list all prescription drugs used and their purpose. All legal drugs found in a drug test result will be verified by a Medical Review Officer (MRO), who will verify that prescriptions are valid and being used at the prescribed amounts and that said amounts are reflected appropriately in the urine.
• Any applicant with a confirmed positive test will be denied employment.

Post-Employment Drug Testing:

• All employees can be drug tested randomly, upon suspicion, post-accident or any other purpose allowed by law.
• Note: This form is not used to obtain consent and is for informational purposes only. Drug testing consent will be obtained per FCRA requirements in a separate process.
