Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform repair and maintenance of HVAC equipment air conditioning units
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute service tasks.
- Collaborate with clients to explain repairs or maintenance procedures clearly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each job performed.
Skills
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with construction principles related to HVAC installation and repair projects.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems relevant to HVAC applications.
- Skilled in equipment repair involving electrical components using tools like ohmmeters.
- Field service experience working on air conditioning units, property maintenance tasks, or appliance repair projects.
- Mechanical experience with boilers, pumps, valves, and other HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment is essential.
