Elliot Industries, Inc (a MacLean Power Systems Company is seeking a Quality Inspector to assist in task and duties related to quality control processes and ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
This role is Onsite in Bossier City, LA.
Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00
What You’ll Do
- Test products and services, analyze results and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure products and services meet specifications
- Use of required gaging instruments and the application of such instruments
- Manage, maintain, rebuild and repair gaging equipment per the standards as need
- Run and monitor inspection equipment (gages, etc.) to record and analyze quality data
- Purchase gaging supplies and equipment’s needed
- Understand and ensure regulatory compliance
- Recommend modifications to standards, methods and procedures
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g. maintain cleanliness or work area, etc.)
- Follow All safety, Environment and Quality policies and procedures.
What You’ll Need to Excel in This Role
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems, and refer to more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Attention to detail / detail oriented
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
- Ability to navigate digital equipment
- Perform work under general supervision

- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and Analytical thinking skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite.
