Earning Potential
- Base Entry Rate: $26.49 per hour.
- Skill-Based Range: Up to $38.41 per hour based on our internal level system subject to skill level evaluation by our leadership team.
- Shift Differential: $1.25 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts
You will be responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities By Expertise Level
- Foundational: Perform preventative maintenance and repair of foundry and machine shop equipment. Change parts, keep machines in working order, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Welding and fabrication skills.
- Advanced: Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Read blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
- Expert: Diagnose complex malfunctions, troubleshoot ladder logic/PLCs, and handle high-voltage/3-phase power. Utilize the CMMS system for documentation and work through tasks with minimal supervision.
- Education: Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with motor control circuits and familiarity with high voltages (3-phase).
- Shift Requirements: Ability to work second shift, third shift, and overtime as necessary.
- Bonus Skills: Working knowledge of PLCs and experience in high-speed manufacturing are a major plus.
- Physical: Must be able to walk, handle fine manipulation, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. infrequently. Requires the ability to bend, squat, crawl, and climb heights or staircases occasionally.
- Environment: Works in a foundry environment which may include exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and extreme heat.
