The Settlement Accountant will join a leading Anaheim venue, overseeing the financial management of a wide range of ticketed and non-ticketed events, including concerts, sports, and special events. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate event settlements, budgeting, and financial reporting to support overall profitability and operational success.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare pre-event estimates and budgets, collaborating with operations and booking teams.
- Execute event settlements on-site during evenings and weekends, ensuring accurate payouts to artists, promoters, and other parties.
- Generate post-event flash reports and contribute to variance analysis and profitability reviews.
- Reconcile revenue streams including ticketing, F&B, merchandise, sponsorship, and other event income.
- Support month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
- Build dashboards and provide clear financial summaries to leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of experience in a general accounting function.
- Proficient in financial systems (D365 FO preferred) and Excel.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in sports or entertainment accounting is a plus.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Evening and weekend availability is required to support live events.
You’ll play a key role in maximizing event profitability and supporting financial planning with clean, real-time data. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where every night brings a new event and new challenges.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
