Job Title: Staff AccountantPayr Range: $30-33 p/h (up to $75k perm)Our environmental service client is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Staff Accountant will help with daily and monthly accounting tasks, assist with month-end close processes, and contribute to ensuring accurate financial data. You'll collaborate closely with senior accounting staff and the Corporate Controller.Key Responsibilities:Support month-end processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.Assist with inter-company reconciliations, credit card expense tracking, and bank statement reconciliations.Help maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper documentation.Prepare internal reports and provide support for audits and tax reporting.Contribute to documenting procedures and upholding strong internal controls.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or relevant experience).1-3 years of accounting experience (internship experience welcome).Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.Proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn accounting systems quickly.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and deadline management.Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
