Landscape Laborer/ Garden Center associate

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer / Garden center assoiciate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, plant maintenance The Landscape Laborer / Garden center associate will work closely with other team members to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• able to withstand temperature extremes hot and cold high humidity work
• Able to drive 2 hours from shop location with trailer to pick up plant shipment from wholesale merchandiser
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities including weeding, planting, and mulching.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
• Customer Service is a must in this role

Experience

• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
• A willingness to learn new skills and techniques in landscaping is essential.
• Must be able to operate truck and trailer safely with a valid Drivers license.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
