Hospital Manager – Veterinary Services - Austin, TX
We are seeking an experienced Hospital Manager to lead operations at a fast-paced, specialist veterinary center. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving day-to-day performance, team accountability, and an outstanding client and patient experience.
The Role
You will oversee the smooth running of the hospital, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient operations, strong team engagement, and high standards of care. You’ll take ownership of scheduling, workflow, team performance, and overall site execution.
Salary - $85,000-$105,000 (dependent on experience) bonus potential and relocation assistance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable all center staff
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and case flow
- Deliver an exceptional client and patient experience
- Drive operational efficiency, staffing alignment, and cost control budgeting
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Partner with senior leadership on staffing, forecasting, and planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinary practices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes

- Proven experience in veterinary or healthcare operations management
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability
- Operationally focused, with a track record of improving performance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of KPIs and cost management
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekends
