Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.
The wage range for this position is $105,000-$125,000 per year, depending on experience
Full-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company’s 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance-based bonuses.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and manage the technical delivery of a variety of gas and municipal projects
- Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and our business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work
- Effectively direct and support technical staff to deliver projects
- Assist project managers in preparing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule, and prepare deliverables
- Assist with business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships
- Registered PE in the states of Washington and/or Oregon, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- 3- 5 years of design experience in transportation, gas pipeline, roadway, energy, or utilities
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians
- Experience with conducting engineering projects from conception to completion, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, construction support, and project delivery within municipal and gas projects
