Responsibilities
- Interpret and read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Utilize plasma cutting equipment for shaping materials as per design specifications.
- Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment.
- Perform pipe threading as required for specific projects.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products using micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques is preferred.
- Experience in operating hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutting equipment is essential.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers accurately.
