Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in various fabrication and welding techniques. This role involves interpreting blueprints, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring high-quality assembly of components. A commitment to safety and precision is essential.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment for shaping materials as per design specifications.
• Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products using tape measure and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
• Experience in operating hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutting equipment is essential.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
