We're looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing team. What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems on power generators at customer job sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs on rental and customer-owned equipment.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations with customers and obtain approval for repairs.
• Order parts and ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Disassemble and reassemble components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and major components.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and parts documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized service truck and work area.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication and quality workmanship.
• Follow all company safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
• Work overtime when required to support customer needs.

What We're Looking For

✔ 8 years of heavy equipment repair experience preferred

✔ Strong troubleshooting skills in:

• Diesel engines
• Electrical systems
• Mechanical repairs

✔ Experience working on:

• Power Generators
• HVAC

✔ Ability to:

• Read and interpret service manuals and technical documentation
• Perform quality inspections and testing
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Manage repair jobs from diagnosis through completion

✔ Valid driver's license required

✔ High School Diploma or Technical/Trade School certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Work safely around heavy equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment

This position is primarily field-based and includes exposure to:

• Construction and industrial job sites
• Heat, cold, rain, and humidity
• Mechanical equipment and moving machinery
• High noise levels
• Hydraulic systems, chemicals, and high-pressure equipment
