Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day operation of the branch.
• Help drive exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assist with business planning, budgeting, and branch financial performance.
• Review operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve productivity and profitability.
• Support rental operations including inventory management, equipment availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with employee scheduling, coaching, training, and team development.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and safety procedures.
• Work alongside sales and operations teams to support business development initiatives.
• Develop a strong understanding of branch operations, including sales, customer service, fleet management, and administrative functions.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Participate in ongoing leadership and professional development training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Leadership experience through work, internships, military service, student organizations, or supervisory roles is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience with construction equipment, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or the equipment rental industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work around construction equipment, machinery, chemicals, and industrial environments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
