CDL Driver -Concrete Mixer (Class B 70,00lbs)

Summary
Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. We are seeking a CDL driver for our concrete mixers to join our team. 2 years of experience with manual transmission is required.
Duties
· Follow procedures to ensure truck is safe to operate.
· Complete pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required.
· Operate truck to receive and load, evaluate slump, and drive safely to job site.
· Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner.
· Keep inside and outside of truck clean.
· Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service.
· Follow all company policies and procedures.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Must obtain a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
· Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
· Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
· Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.
· Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
· Must provide DOT paperwork.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to regularly stand and sit.
· Must be able to frequently use hands to handle and reach.
· Must be able to drive a manual transmission truck.
· Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Schedule
· 8–12 hour shifts
· Monday – Friday
· Overtime
· Weekends and nights as needed.
Salary
· $25-$27 based on experience.
