CDL Cement Tanker (Class A 80,000lbs)

Direct Supervisor: Operations Manager
Full or Part Time: Full Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. 3-5 years of experience driving a truck with GVW of 80,000 lbs is required.
Duties:
- Follow procedures to ensure truck and trailer are safe to operate.
- Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required.
- Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner.
- Keep equipment in a like new condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies.
- Maintain contact with supervisor to receive and transmit delivery instructions.
- Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and management.
- Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
- Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Must provide DOT paperwork.
- Must be able to hook up a trailer attachment as well as load/unload equipment.
Schedule:
- About 40-60 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed.
Salary:
- $27-$29 based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
