Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to support our busy Avon, NY (14414) facility. You will work a 2-2-3 rotation, with shifts available from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am.
Primary Duties- Utilize forklifts and related equipment to move goods with precision and care.
- Manage the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing freight.
- Ensure materials are moved to their correct locations to optimize facility workflow.
- Perform regular equipment checks to help keep our machinery in top working condition.
- Support inventory accuracy by keeping precise records of stock movements.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all safety procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure we hit our production targets on time.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current forklift certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience driving forklifts within an industrial or warehouse environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong dedication to workplace safety.
- Physical capability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective team collaboration.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule across different shifts.
