Core Duties- Identify and resolve mechanical failures within diesel engines and associated machinery.
- Execute standard upkeep tasks like fluid changes, filter swaps, and system evaluations.
- Swap out or fix defective parts including exhaust components, fuel pumps, and injectors.
- Document all service and repair activities with precision.
- Work alongside colleagues to help ensure the team meets service deadlines consistently.
- Keep current with evolving diesel technologies and industry developments.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all established safety procedures.
- Completion of high school or a GED; a technical certificate in the field is a plus.
- Demonstrated history of working as a diesel technician or in a comparable capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of how diesel engine parts and systems function.
- Capacity to analyze and utilize technical schematics and service guides.
- Help drive project success through sharp attention to detail and effective troubleshooting.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving.
