AUTO BODY TECH: We are seeking an experienced, highly-skilled, and detail-oriented AUTO BODY TECH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools used in the automotive industry. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards before returning to the customer. Additionally, you must be able to execute auto painting with precision, ensuring a smooth finish that meets factory-quality finish. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF PROVEN PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.

AUTO BODY TECH Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
• Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to ensure optimal performance and appearance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for repairs and refinishing.
• Execute auto painting with precision, ensuring a smooth finish that meets factory-quality finish.
• Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop repair plans through auto estimating.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician OR Painter
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and restoration.
• Proficiency in using various tools such as welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Familiarity with sheet metal work, soldering techniques, and assembly processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and installations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members.
• Must have a car and valid drivers license

PAINTER ONLY: In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes, restoring vehicle surfaces, and ensuring every vehicle leaves with a flawless appearance. Your skills in surface preparation, masking, spraying techniques, and detailing will help us deliver exceptional results to our customers. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to automotive excellence. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF PROVEN PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.

PAINTER Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Mask off areas accurately using surface preparation masking techniques to protect non-painted surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications
• Apply automotive paint using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment for smooth, even finishes.
• Perform surface refinishing tasks such as buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a high-gloss finish.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.

PAINTER Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive painter is required
• Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques.
• Ability to accurately color match and blend paint.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment is essential.
