Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Attracting Candidates:
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to identify potential candidates.
- Use job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to find qualified candidates.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Screening and Interviewing:
- Review resumes and applications, conduct phone screens and virtual interviews, and evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, experience, and overall fit for the role and organization.
- Provide feedback to candidates and guide them through the interview process.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
- Advise hiring managers on market trends, interview processes, and candidate selection.
- Ensure proactive and clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate the interview process, including scheduling interviews and managing logistics.
- Onboarding:
- Support the onboarding process by preparing offer letters, conducting reference checks, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Candidate Experience:
- Create a positive candidate experience by maintaining professionalism, transparency, and communication throughout the process.
- Provide candidates with feedback and updates about the status of their applications.
- Data and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of candidate progress through the recruitment process.
- Track key performance metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
- Generate and analyze recruitment reports to optimize the recruitment strategy.
- Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, nonprofit, or other service-oriented environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process for a variety of positions.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and overall fit with organizational needs and values.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to travel to the corporate office one to two times per month and to center locations throughout Minnesota as needed.
- Experience recruiting for behavioral health, healthcare, education, nonprofit, or human services organizations.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting initiatives.
- Degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
- Experience using UKG Recruiting or similar HRIS and recruiting systems.
- SHRM, AIRS, or other recruiting-related certification preferred.
