Position Summary

MAC is seeking a motivated Connections Activities Coordinator to assist in the development and oversight of Senior Center Connections programs at our Willards location. This role involves planning and coordinating activities that encourage wellness, social interaction, and engagement among seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage daily activities for seniors under the direction of the Connections Manager.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct programs that promote physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and health literacy opportunities.
• Supervise and provide guidance to volunteers.
• Encourage seniors to participate in activities and assist them as needed.
• Help plan holiday and special event programs and coordinate decorations.
• Maintain program supplies, attendance records, and meal counts.
• Prepare and distribute the calendar of events.
• Support and uphold MAC policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• High energy, enthusiasm, patience, and a sense of humor.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact courteously with seniors, volunteers, and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to create calendars and signage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work semi-independently.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
