The Role
We’re hiring a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support project bids, product design, testing, and manufacturing for rail infrastructure projects. This is a hands‑on role with exposure to engineering, production, and field support — and clear room to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Support project bids with BOMs, drawings, and documentation
- Design OCS assemblies and components using SolidWorks
- Prepare engineering submittals and technical documentation
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Manufacturing, and customers
- Assist with testing, quality checks, and on‑site support
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
- Strong mechanical design fundamentals
- Ability to read and create engineering drawings
- Team‑oriented with strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with OCS (Overhead Catenary Systems), OCR (Overhead Conductor Rail) or Electrified Mass Transit
- 3D printing or prototyping experience
- Familiarity with industry standards
