Sales Estimator

Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting is seeking an individual who is self-motivated with a passion for success to join our growing team as Sales Estimator!

The Sales Manager/Estimator is responsible for generating sales, providing exceptional customer service, accurately assessing vehicle damage, developing repair plans and estimates, and helping ensure vehicles move efficiently through the repair process. This position works closely with customers, technicians, production staff, and management to achieve sales, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and capture sales leads and work toward daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales objectives established by management.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify all visible damage, including dents, broken glass, and potential mechanical issues.
• Analyze collision and/or paint damage to develop an accurate repair plan and cost estimate.
• Prepare repair estimates based on the type and extent of damage.
• Determine applicable insurance coverage and explain repair costs and options to customers.
• Clearly communicate the repair process, costs, and repair options to customers.
• Order and process parts according to repair guidelines.
• Review repair orders with technicians and production staff as needed.
• Manage vehicle intake and check-in, including obtaining paint formulas and ensuring all required information accompanies the repair order.
• Clearly mark vehicles and repair orders to ensure accurate and complete communication with shop personnel.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process by providing frequent, accurate updates on repair status.
• Assist the GM with the day-to-day operations of the front office and shop.
• Work collaboratively with Production staff to achieve efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery standards.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers, employees, and other team members.
• Prioritize and complete responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Ability to independently multitask, prioritize, and complete duties in a timely manner.
• Experience with CCC ONE or similar estimating software preferred.
• I-CAR certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collision repair environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both office and production teams.

Compensation

Hourly or Salary UNCAPPED Quarterly Bonus

This position offers the opportunity to increase earnings based on performance, with an uncapped quarterly bonus.
