What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Paint Technician position at Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting?
Maaco Auto Body & Paint is looking for an experienced Automotive Painter to join our Las Vegas team. We are seeking someone who can consistently produce quality paintwork while maintaining the speed and production standards of a high-volume collision and automotive paint shop.
Responsibilities:
- Paint complete vehicles, panels, and collision repairs
- Mix and match automotive paint and verify color accuracy
- Properly prepare, mask, seal, and clean vehicles before painting
- Apply basecoat, clearcoat, and single-stage finishes as required
- Identify and correct paint defects before vehicle delivery
- Maintain paint booth, spray equipment, and work area
- Work closely with body technicians, prep staff, and production management
- Maintain quality while meeting daily/weekly production goals
- Follow all shop and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous professional automotive painting experience required, 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of automotive refinishing and paint application
- Ability to produce clean, consistent finishes in a production environment
- Experience with color matching and blending
- Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a production team

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
