Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on literacy education, early intervention, and overall child welfare.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns regarding behavior or development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
