M9 Solutions is seeking aSubject Matter Expert Ito work in a hybrid remote/on-site environment in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of historical reimbursable accounting records to identify discrepancies and develop resolution strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive work papers documenting errors and proposed solutions within the client's project accounting and general ledger systems.
- Assist the client's Reimbursable Team in gathering and organizing documentation for audit requests and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with the client's stakeholders to validate financial data and support exception clearing for active and expiring fund projects.
- Support the development of electronic documentation packages for each BPAC, including analysis summaries, Delphi screenshots, and reconciliation recommendations.
- Participate in regular project meetings to prioritize and ensure alignment with the client'sreconciliation goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6 years of experience in federal financial management, audit support, and accounting services for public sector clients.
- Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail in financial data reconciliation and audit readiness.
- Ability to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the client's reimbursable data, contributing to improved financial transparency and compliance.
