What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer position at M5 UTILITIES, LLC?
- Cut, Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using cement, glue, or other method.
- Build concrete forms and utilize hand tools to prepare and pour concrete construction.
- Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
- Safely and properly operate wheel loader, skid steer, backhoe, excavator, and other equipment for the installation and construction of underground utilities.
- Ensure proper care and daily inspection of equipment.
- Perform Traffic Control Safety and flagging, as necessary.
- Other duties the Project Foreman deems necessary to remain productive on the job site.
