Job Title: Pipe Inspection Helper
Hours
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Overtime as needed, including extended work days and weekends
Job Summary
The Pipe Inspection Helper supports the inspection and maintenance of rental tubing to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves assisting inspectors by cleaning, inspecting, and measuring pipe threads using various hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality protocols to maintain operational efficiency.
Duties
- Assist inspectors in cleaning and inspecting rental tubing threaded connections to verify they meet company quality standards.
- Use calipers, threaded gauges, and other measuring instruments to perform accurate measurements.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and perform repairs as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by keeping the shop area tidy and safe.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards during all inspection and maintenance activities.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand product specifications and measurements.
- Proficiency in basic math for measurement verification and quality checks.
- Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers and threaded gauges preferred.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Attention to detail to ensure inspections meet quality standards.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and inspectors.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have reliable transportation
