Your Impact
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator to join our Las Vegas site team. This role is critical to driving service performance, optimizing production flow, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and collaborator, capable of bridging planning and operations to meet customer expectations and reduce lead times.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Service Performance:
- Maintain a minimum 93% service level through effective planning and execution
- Monitor order status and proactively address delays or risks
- Order Management & Fulfillment:
- Collaborate with operations to ensure order dates are met and production aligns with customer commitments
- Ensure completed orders are shipped promptly and in full when ready
- Operations Partnership:
- Build strong relationships with operations team members
- Learn and understand machine capabilities and constraints to improve scheduling and throughput
- Identify opportunities to reduce lead times and increase productivity
- Material Coordination:
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate shortages to avoid production disruptions
- Continuous Improvement:
- Support initiatives to streamline planning processes and enhance service reliability
- Provide data-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy and production efficiency
You'll Bring:
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field OR 2 years of experience in demand planning, production scheduling, or supply chain coordination
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
