Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (Manager, Strategic Partnerships) will play a critical role in expanding M1 Global's client portfolio by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across enterprise industries.
This individual will leverage their knowledge of enterprise operations, physical security solutions, and existing professional relationships to identify new opportunities, build executive-level relationships, support client onboarding, and foster long-term client success. While this is not a traditional transactional sales role, a strong professional network, business development mindset, and the ability to open doors are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or account development.
- Experience selling B2B services, physical security, facilities services, staffing, technology, or other enterprise solutions preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated success generating new business and building a qualified sales pipeline.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with executive decision-makers.
- Experience utilizing AI tools for market research, lead generation, and pipeline development.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers across target industries.
- Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities that supports revenue growth.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Development
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive activity.
- Identify organizations with current or future physical security needs.
- Utilize AI tools and market intelligence to support prospecting and opportunity development.
- Qualify opportunities based on strategic fit, operational needs, and revenue potential.
Strategic Partnerships & Client Engagement
- Develop relationships with industry partners, consultants, developers, and key influencers to expand business opportunities.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop pursuit strategies and support client presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and long-term client satisfaction.
Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, and pipeline forecasts.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline activity, business development efforts, and market insights.
Success in This Role
