About the Role:
M&S Machine & Tool Co., Inc. is looking for a motivated and organized Office Manager to join our team in West Haven, CT. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive and organized work environment
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and communication between departments, vendors, and customers
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain and organize company records, files, and documentation
- Support HR functions including onboarding, employee records, and payroll coordination
- Order and manage office and facility supplies and inventory
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and visitors
Requirements:
- 2 years of office management or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience using and ERP system, JobBoss experience preferred and right candidate can easily learn system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a small business environment
- Experience with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, or payroll processing is a plus
- Dependable, professional, and a team-oriented attitude
