Position Summary
Order Selectors have a crucial role in warehouse operations, where they are responsible for fulfilling orders accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Must be able to accurately record data and input information to the inventory system products, and other miscellaneous goods in order of deliveries, and scanning of product onto the truck.
- Manage and report all damaged products.
- Pulling/stocking orders when necessary for shipping.
- Sorting products
- Assist team lead preparing orders for shipment
- Pick all items ordered by sales reps
- Pack items in boxes or totes
- Stack products on pallet to minimize damages in shipment
- Verify orders are labeled for the correct sales rep (NE)
- Remove trash and empty boxes from pick slots and warehouse floor (NE)
- Breakdown freight to receive
- Slot products (new or returned)
- Pull reserve products when slots need replenishment
- Pack seasonal promotions
- Assist in other areas
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- High school diploma, G.E.D
- Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl to reach freight
- Must be able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements
- Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to push up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to pull up to 55 pounds.
- Standing for long periods, general bending and twisting are associated with lifting.
- Local travel may be required.
