We are seeking a Land Surveyor to perform a wide range of surveying services, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys.
Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys
- Prepare, review, and seal plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports
- Research deeds, plats, and other land records
- Manage survey projects, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with state and local surveying regulations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to survey staff
- Conduct quality control reviews of field and office work
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 5 to 10 years of professional land surveying experience
- Proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, data collectors)
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
- Strong understanding of boundary law and surveying principles
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
