Land Surveyor - Field Technician
We are seeking a motivated, professional and detailed-oriented Land Survey Field Technician to join our team. This role involves working outdoors in various conditions to collect data for land surveying projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, love working outside and have a willingness to learn. Some experience in the land surveying industry would be a bonus. However, we are willing to train!
Qualifications:
-An attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to understand and interpret data
-A valid and clean NYS driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
-Strong math and science skills
-Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
-Availability for overtime and some (week-day) overnight travel

Preferred skills:
-Familiarity with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors
-1 years of experience in land surveying or a related field
-Associates degree in surveying or related field
Our firm regularly complete boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, residential and commercial surveys.
