Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site cleanup and material organization.
Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Support skilled workers by providing assistance with tools, equipment repair, and equipment operation, including power tools.
Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and ensure site stability.
Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution.
Adhere strictly to all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures.
Participate in site safety inspections, report hazards promptly, and help maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
Previous experience in industrial or heavy construction environments is highly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards is essential.
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working in various weather conditions.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus.
Familiarity with power tools, manual handling techniques, and erosion control practices.
