Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced (not required), motivated, positive minded, and hands-on saw guy to lead our team and maintain the highest standards of quality for custom processing and retail meats. We’re looking for a dedicated butcher who takes genuine pride in the craft of butchery and is committed to producing high-quality work every day. The ideal candidate values attention to detail, respects traditional techniques, and understands the importance of quality from start to finish.

Full time: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
* overtime opportunities come our busy months (August-December).
Responsibilities
* Work the meat saw on beef, pork, and lamb.
* Must be comfortable with humane livestock slaughter in accordance with all safety and animal welfare regulations.
* Ensure efficient work flow through the processing process.
* Maintain exceptional product quality and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
* Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
* Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
* Positive attitude and ability to keep a team moving in an effective way that is professional and team oriented
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.

Experience
* Butcher experience is HIGHLY preferred, but not required.
* Previous supervisory experience is a bonus
* Previous experience with smoked meat compliance also a bonus.
* Strong knowledge of meat cutting and food safety practices preferred
WE ARE OPEN TO TRAINING SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE AND IS INTERESTED IN THE ART OF BUTCHERY. Our #1 goal is to hold a team of passionate, prideful butchers. This position is a trade and we take pride in our abiltity to bring our customers quality product and a great experience.
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
