POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be a professional and well-versed problem solver who is a critical thinker and loves to work with numbers daily. The candidate is searching for a strong team cultured office that is fast paced and evolving with advanced technology to streamline systems and processes.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Process Daily Tickets; collect, mark, data entry, organize/disperse Spreadsheets; create/add based on daily aggregate tickets
- Process weekly payroll, including allocating and approving weekly hours, data entry and reconciling payroll reports
- Assist accounting department with billing/ invoicing clients as needed
- Receptionist duties as needed
- Integrate and implement electronic dispatching system into payroll process
- Adhere to and enforce all safety standards
- Participate in and promote the safety culture
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient computer skills; working with various software, websites and programs
- Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, Google Docs, Microsoft Team 365
- Must be comfortable and great with numbers – basic math
- Able to communicate across various forums including email, phone, text, messaging, fax and snail mail.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment under pressure/deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Follow instructions given both orally or in writing
- Ability to work independently, with accuracy and in accordance with company safety and quality standards
- Ability to communicate in English with other employees for the purpose of hazard recognition, problem solving, or other purposes
