Our focus is on emerging technologies in crewed and uncrewed aviation, advanced air mobility, and U-space. Our goal is to assist clients in achieving success with their regulation and compliance strategies and implementations.We offer services to government entities and private enterprises, including regulatory strategies, UAS/Drones and USSP certification, design verification, SORA approvals (Specific Operations Risk Assessment), and CE marking. Our customer base includes leading drone organisations worldwide that trust in our expertise.About this RoleWe are looking for a commercially minded Business Development Trainee with a background in Aviation, Aerospace, or Drone Technologies who wants real exposure to international business development, strategic sales, and project execution.As part of this role, you will be directly involved in pipeline development, client communication, and opportunity qualification within high-growth sectors including aviation, unmanned systems, and emerging technologies.You will gain hands-on experience in structured sales processes, opportunity assessment, and international market development.Your will be supporting your manager and team in these key tasks:Pipeline Tracking & Opportunity MonitoringMaintain and update the sales pipeline (CRM and internal tracking tools)Monitor inbound and outbound opportunities across aviation and drone marketsTrack lead progression from first contact through to proposal stagePrepare weekly pipeline summaries and performance reportsIdentify stalled opportunities and propose follow-up actions Sales Support & Client EngagementParticipate in business development calls and client meetingsSupport preparation of pitch decks and proposalsDraft follow-up communications and meeting summariesAssist in structuring commercial offers and pricing models Market & Technical ResearchResearch aviation and drone industry trends, regulations, and competitorsIdentify new target markets and strategic partnership opportunitiesAnalyse tenders, RFPs, and funding opportunities relevant to aerospace and UASSupport strategic positioning in emerging aviation segments (e.g. UAM, ISR, defence applications, commercial UAV deployment) Process & Commercial OptimisationSupport the improvement of sales workflows and documentationContribute to the development of internal business development playbooksHelp build structured qualification frameworks for aviation/drone clientsAssist in KPI tracking and performance analysisRequirements:Currently enrolled at university, studying:Aviation / Aerospace EngineeringDrone Technologies / UASAeronautical EngineeringStrong interest in business development, sales, and commercial strategyComfortable speaking with clients and stakeholdersStructured thinker with analytical skillsFluent in English (Fluency in Spanish and German are a plus)Confident, proactive, and able to take ownershipAvailable around 25 hours a week to work from office.
