Civil Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of civil construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision will drive project success while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules to coordinate resources and milestones effectively.
• Oversee all aspects of construction site activities, including site safety, quality control, and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate project execution and scope management.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through effective project coordination and communication.
• Utilize tools like HeavyBid and other construction estimating software to track progress, document changes, and control costs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and upcoming milestones for review with team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in civil construction management with a strong background in project management.
• Proficiency in project scheduling.
• Skilled in using construction management software or relevant tools for project tracking and documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety certifications or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred but not mandatory.
