Salaried exempt position:
$85,000.- $100,000. incentive compensation
A Production Manager is needed for a 15 to 25 employee production group. You will be part of a small manufacturing group that utilizes stainless steel tubular and sheet stock raw materials to fabricate foodservice and supermarket equipment.
The Production Manager reports to the President. The right candidate must be upwardly mobile.
The Production Manager is responsible for building high-quality products, on budget while providing timely delivery,
This position requires sheet metal and TIG welding expertise in both a production and job shop environment. Qualified candidates must be able to work from drawings and provide accurate cost estimates for product pricing and or contract bids.
A background in O.S.H.A., Safety Programs, Productivity Improvement Programs, Equipment and Building Maintenance, and Tooling (jig and fixture design) is required.
The ideal candidate will have a "hands on" management style.
The ability to multitask while providing people-oriented leadership and demonstrated technical problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment is essential. We require a candidate that has extraordinary mechanical skills.
The selection, hiring, training, salary administration for, and development of subordinates are all essential parts of this job.
M&E Mfg. Co., Inc. is in its 51st year as a manufacturer of food service equipment. M&E designs and manufactures patented stainless steel and aluminum equipment used by national and regional corporations in the food service, bakery, material handling, and pharmaceutical industries.
