Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal production efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will be essential in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our manufacturing processes. $27 - $40/hr plus bonuses.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment across the facility
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and low voltage systems
- Operate and maintain specialized tools including precision measuring instruments, welding equipment, fork lifts, and HVAC/R systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Conduct field service tasks on-site at two manufacturing facilities in Kingston, NY
- Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment performance data and implement improvements for increased reliability
Skills
- Extensive experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and control system layouts for troubleshooting complex machinery
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding, and mechanical repair techniques
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as fork lifts safely and efficiently
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or vendors during maintenance or repair activities
- Effective communication skills in English to document procedures clearly and collaborate with team members
- Background in military or industrial electrician experience is a plus for handling high-voltage systems safely
