Company Laborer/Assistant/Parts Runner

Position Summary

MEH Pool Services is seeking a dependable, self-motivated assistant to support our daily operations. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our technicians supplied, our facility organized, and our fleet clean and ready for service.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed. Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the facility.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming deliveries and inventory.
• Organize inventory and ensure materials are accurately labeled and easily accessible.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Prepare and distribute supplies, chemicals, equipment, and tools for field technicians.
• Ensure technicians have the necessary inventory and equipment to complete their daily routes.
• Perform supply runs to job sites, vendors, and other company locations as needed.
• Clean, wash, fuel, and maintain the appearance of company vehicles inside and out.
• Perform minor facility and equipment maintenance, including basic repairs and preventative upkeep.
• Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
• Properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and empty chemical containers according to company procedures.
• Report inventory shortages, damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with special projects and other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, identify what needs to be done, and stay productive without constant supervision.
• Takes initiative and is proactive in keeping the facility clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in operations, logistics, inventory, maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
