- Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in procedures using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and accurately scheduling appointments or redirecting calls as needed.
- Verify insurance coverage, process insurance claims, and handle billing using systems
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review processes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EHR systems including eClinicalWorks or Meditech.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing patient information with proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills.
- Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and patient intake procedures to streamline office operations.
- Support office management activities by coordinating appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk environment.
Skills
- Extensive experience with dental office management software such as Dentrix
- Proficiency in handling medical terminology, health information management, and documentation review to ensure accuracy in patient records.
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently; strong customer service skills are essential.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated clinic experience in a dental or medical setting; familiarity with dental terminology and care plans is preferred.

- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for safeguarding patient information; experience with medical coding (ICD coding) is advantageous.
