The Sprinkler Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of sprinkler and fire protection service operations, as well as running small to medium size projects. This includes customer coordination, estimation, scheduling, walk-throughs, supervision of field staff, and ensuring successful delivery of service and project work. The Sprinkler Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of sprinkler and fire protection service operations, as well as running small to medium size projects. Responsibilities
- Oversee sprinkler service operations including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Manage small to medium size sprinkler and fire protection projects from planning through completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and company standards.
- Uphold a high level of quality in all work performed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and addressing concerns.
- Conduct site walk-throughs with clients to evaluate needs and present solutions.
- Prepare and present accurate service proposals and project estimates.
- Direct, schedule, and support sprinkler service technicians and project crews.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure field staff have the proper training, resources, and adhere to safety policies.
- Review customer requirements and develop cost estimates for service and project work.
- Forecast labor, equipment, and material needs.
- Support business development by assisting with bids and proposals.
- Develop and maintain efficient service and project schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust schedules to maximize productivity.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking skills by managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ensure all work is performed to company and regulatory standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and enforce company safety policies.
- Address and resolve any quality or safety issues promptly.
- Pursue relevant industry certifications and encourage continuous professional development.
- Stay interested in and informed about new industry technologies, standards, and best practices to keep the company competitive.
- Maintain accurate records of service work and projects.
- Report on KPIs such as schedule adherence, budget performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to company leadership on operational performance.
Education & Experience Required:
- High School Diploma with 10 years of experience
- Associate’s degree with 8 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain a secret Clearance.
- Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
