For the Fire Alarm Life Safety Industry, we are seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter who has In-depth understanding of Life Safety, and Fire Alarm Technical fields, to join our Critical Infrastructure Solutions (CIS) business Unit. As part of (CIS) Strategic Business Unit' Life Safety Group (LSG) you will be part of a team that is a prime turnkey design-build/design assist & pre-construction services providing Fire Alarm systems design, construction, installation & commissioning. Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, service, and maintenance. Create station monitoring, as well as Fire Protection & specific hazard systems engineering.

 

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will have the opportunity to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

 

Work Type: Full-Time
Location: Onsite, Tysons, VA
Travel: Up to 30% travel (job sites, customer sites)
Work Authorization: Must possess U.S. Work Authorization and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (which requires individuals to be U.S. Citizens)


Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and maintain a candidate pipeline for Life Safety and Fire Alarm and all other jobs requiring in life safety industry. You must have In-depth understanding of Fire Alarm systems design, construction, installation & commissioning. Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, service, and maintenance. Create station monitoring, as well as Fire Protection & specific hazard systems engineering.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to comprehend their staffing needs for positions requiring security clearances of different levels.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the specific needs of roles with life safety.
• Utilize a mix of targeted sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and networking, to identify and engage potential candidates in life safety.
• Thoroughly assess candidates' qualifications, including their skills, and experiences, in the life safety and fire alarm industry.
• Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the security clearance process, providing guidance and assistance in completing necessary documentation and interviews.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of life safety industry candidates, ensuring a consistent pool of talent for current and future openings.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from initial contact to offer acceptance.
• Uphold a positive candidate experience by offering transparent communication, timely updates, and support throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with HR and compliance teams to ensure that all hiring processes and documentation align with OFCCP regulations and guidelines.
• Leverage data and reporting to monitor recruitment metrics and optimize processes.


Qualifications

  • Experience:  5 years of experience in the engineering & construction industry focused on Life Safety & Fire Alarm industry.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience / associate degree with 8 years of experience / High School Diploma with 10 years of experience.
  • Extensive experience recruiting technical talent, in the life safety and fire alarm industry.
  • You must have In-depth understanding of Fire Alarm systems design, construction, installation & commissioning.  Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, service, and maintenance.  Create station monitoring, as well as Fire Protection & specific hazard systems engineering.
  • Experience hiring fire alarm technicians, safety inspectors, installers, and fire alarm programmers.
  • Understanding of PLC, ESS, and FA Principles (Programmable Logic Controller, Energy Storage Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems).
  • Experience with Full Life Cycle Recruiting operations.
