Job Summary
The Water & Fire Restoration Technician is part of our emergency response team and performs hands-on restoration work. This role includes operating specialized equipment, assisting in property restoration, and working on-call one week per month.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, and mold damage
- Assess damage and determine mitigation steps
- Extract water and operate drying equipment
- Perform safe mold remediation
- Complete selective demolition (drywall, framing, plumbing)
- Clean, sanitize, and deodorize affected areas
- Move and protect customer belongings
- Document progress with photos, readings, and notes
- Set up, monitor, and maintain equipment
- Communicate with customers on work progress and safety
- IICRC certification preferred (training available)
- Previous restoration, construction, or mitigation experience helpful but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work on-call one week per month
- Full-time
- On-call rotation (one week per month)
- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
