Duties
- Assist with food preparation and food running to ensure timely service and fresh offerings
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
- Support bussing and guest service efforts by clearing tables and assisting with in-person customer interactions
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when moving supplies or equipment
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Support restaurant operations by performing food prep, serving guests, and ensuring a smooth flow of service throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of supplies
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for hospitality, guest services, and creating positive dining experiences
