About the position
Responsibilities
• Evaluate roof requirements through physical inspection and accurate problem diagnosis.
• Prepare detailed roofing proposals, including diagrams and photos.
• Present proposals on-site or via email at the time of inspection.
• Follow up diligently with customers to secure sales and answer any queries.
• Maintain superior customer service in line with company guidelines.
• Confirm appointments and provide estimated arrival times.
• Ensure all appointments and commitments are recorded in Service Titan.
• Regularly update Service Titan with customer interactions and status.
• Inform new customers about the process after a proposal is signed, including project timelines and communication expectations.
• Ensure all paperwork is properly signed and dated.
• Conduct expert roof inspections, including taking photographs of specific areas of damage.
• Submit sales contracts within 48 hours of customer signing.
• Maintain accurate pricing and requisition of materials to avoid shortages.
• Engage in strategic planning and goal setting with management when requested.
• Participate in company events and training for software proficiency.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years residential home improvement sales experience, direct to consumer.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using Service Titan and other relevant software.
• Ability to prepare and provide solutions to customers on the spot.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Ability to generate leads and maintain client relationships.
Nice-to-haves
• Roofing experience is a huge plus.
• Experience with technology to manage your book of business is preferred.
